All meetings of the JDA are open to the public.

All meetings of the Joint Development Authority of Jeff Davis County, Hazlehurst, and Denton are open to the public. The Chair and the entire Board of Directors invite you to attend their meetings and engage with the JDA. Regular meetings usually last two hours. Drinks are also provided for board members and guests.

Minutes are made available to the public once the Board has approved them at the following regular meeting. The public may request a summary of actions taken after the meeting prior to the minutes being approved by the Board. 

Our office has been working to digitize and upload all minutes prior to 2024. While we’ve made great progress, some minutes may not be available online yet. Feel free to submit an open records request for any you can’t find, or check back later.
