Administrative Professional of the Year
Karen Lay serves as the Secretary to the Superior Court Judges in Glynn County, where her professionalism, organizational skill, and dedication to excellence distinguished her among her peers; her ability to manage complex judicial schedules, maintain precise records, and support the court’s daily operations with integrity and efficiency earned her the honor of being recognized as the Administrative Professional of the Year, a testament to her outstanding service and commitment to the Georgia judicial system.

Jane W. Baggett Lifetime Achievement Award
David Miller is the founder of Because He Lives Ministries, Inc., a nonprofit serving Hazlehurst and Jeff Davis County since 2001. Through its Mission Store, the ministry provides clothing, food, and essential items to families in need while supporting global mission work. A graduate of Jeff Davis High School, David has combined entrepreneurial leadership with deep faith to uplift our community. His dedication to service and collaboration has made him a cornerstone of compassion and progress in Hazlehurst.
